Welcome to Holderness Academy, a vibrant and inclusive community dedicated to empowering young people to reach their full potential. Located in the picturesque village of Preston, just six miles east of Hull, we proudly serve approximately 1000 students from both the East Riding and Hull local authorities.

We maintain high standards in dress, punctuality, attendance, and behaviour, creating a calm environment where both students and staff feel secure. With a strong safeguarding culture and a reward system that far outweighs sanctions, we celebrated over 750,000 student rewards given last academic year alone.

As students transition into Year 7, they quickly become part of the Holderness family, benefiting from dedicated spaces and support tailored to their needs. Our separate lower-school playground and canteen, alongside our green spaces, ensure new learners have the support they need to adjust smoothly to Key Stage 3 life.
